Come to the OLLI lounge for a leisurely morning of coffee, breakfast bites and all of the puzzles from the OLLI puzzle exchange! (Did you know we have one?) Enjoy one or multiple puzzles to see if we can help complete them all! If there's a missing puzzle piece we will be working on adding a cut out to keep the puzzles as complete as possible - because we know there's always that one missing piece. We hope to see you there!

Join William Hampton, from Huntsville Revisited, as we enjoy a narrated tour of two historic Huntsville Cemeteries: Oakwood University Memorial Gardens Cemetery and Glenwood Cemetery. The beautiful grounds honor pioneers and cultural icons, including Little Richard, and preserve sacred spaces such as the Historic Slave Cemetery. Glenwood Cemetery is an historic cemetery for African American burials founded about 1871.

Visit Hubert Family Farms in New Market, Alabama. Meet Seth Hubert and learn about the history of the farm that has been in his family since 1917, the planting process for crops and flowers, agriculture and agritourism. Relax and enjoy the beautiful sunflower fields and have fun picking your own to take home.

Cost: $15 for admission and You-Pick cup of flowers (10 stems), or $20 for admission and You-Pick bucket of flowers (25 stems)

Bring your family and friends to an evening of good food, live music, and fun under the Saturn V rocket at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center. The benefactor of this evening’s charity fundraiser will be OLLI at UAH!

POOL TIME! Get an easy-on-the-joints workout at the Huntsville Aquatic Center's Instructional Pool, a heated indoor pool with jets. One low price gets you the swim class and all-day swim (unless you're already a member), so get your swimsuit ready for a day at the pool! Locker rooms available and there's a view of the lake to enjoy afterwards.

Cost: $4.00 at the door unless already a member at the center. 

Hear stories from Huntsville’s haunted past. The Twickenham Ghost Walk begins at Harrison Brothers and travels through the oldest streets in Huntsville. Stops include Helion Masonic Lodge, the LeRoy Pope mansion, Governor Bibb's mansion, as well as the birthplace of General John Hunt Morgan, known as "The Thunderbolt of the Confederacy.”

Cost: $13 CASH 

Explore The Guntersville Museum to discover the history and culture of the region including Native American artifacts, Frank Nelson watercolors, and archival photos, located in the Historic Rock Armory at 1:30 pm. There will be an opportunity for an optional stop to see Honeycomb Natural Bridge on the drive home afterwards. (Enjoy an optional lunch at Wintzell’s Oyster House at 11:30 am. See first-hand how artistry, engineering, and digital innovation come together to create the restorations that dentists use to restore function and appearance for their patients. Guests will observe both traditional bench techniques and the newest digital systems including: subtractive manufacturing, 3D printing of resin dental models, and the use of lasers to create complex dental components.
