    Huntsville’s identity as the Rocket City is often attributed to Wernher von Braun and the German rocket scientists, but their wives also played a crucial role in this history. This lecture examines their experiences through frameworks of gender, war, identity, and migration, situating them within both the Operation Paperclip narrative and local history.
