To counter, limit, neutralize, or inactivate the toxins in our society which are being purveyed through social or a social media, legacy or independent journalism, and politicians and their toadies, we need vigilance and appropriate critiques and antidotes. The objective of this course is to challenge the rewritten realities, invented history, and imaginary geography that manipulate us.  Engaging in discussion and conversation might help us get closer to the truth and might help us resist and combat the falsehoods and distortions in our post-truth age.
